About Me
My Story
Hi I’m Louise Glover and this is my official webpage.
I began my journey by competing in Miss Great Britain at 18, which then led me to represent the country at the Miss Earth Finals in the Philippines. It wasn’t just a significant step forward in my modelling career; it was also an environmental beauty pageant that focused on global issues. We visited universities and schools to raise awareness about environmental and health challenges in our own countries, and I was fortunate enough to plant trees for Great Britain over the course of four weeks and volunteer at a local orphanage in Manila. Upon my return to the UK, I signed with top modelling agencies in London, and soon I was working on calendars and modelling for lingerie and bikini catalogues. Not long after, I made the big move to London to pursue a full-time career in modelling. Now, after more than 12 years, I primarily work as a fitness model.
In 2012, my life took a dramatic turn when I fell seriously ill with septicaemia due to a series of infections and medical negligence. My life was at risk, and after going into cardiac arrest, I spent four weeks in hospital. This experience gave me a new perspective and determination to take control of my health. I introduced nutritional therapy and daily exercise into my routine, prioritising my well-being above all else. I embraced superfoods, went organic, launched my own healthy living cookbook range, and even studied nutrition to become a personal trainer. Reclaiming my health was the most empowering feeling, and now, with the knowledge I’ve gained, I can help others improve their quality of life. After all, knowledge is power, and our health is priceless.
Today, in 2023, I work as a global humanitarian volunteer. My most recent efforts have focused on improving the lives of rescue dogs. I’ve travelled the world, volunteering in the aftermath of natural disasters like hurricanes and mudslides, and supporting rural communities in countries such as Mexico, Malaysia, Belize, Nepal, and Peru. I am committed to working closely with nature, helping others wherever I can, and using my platform to educate and inspire people to contribute towards a more sustainable and compassionate world.
